Four killed in Kenya cargo plane crash

Nairobi, July 2 (IANS): At least four people were killed Wednesday when a cargo plane crashed into a commercial building in Kenya's capital city of Nairobi, an official said.

The Mogadishu-bound Fokker 50 cargo plane crashed shortly after taking off from Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Xinhua reported.

"It is not clear what caused the crash, but initial investigations reveal that the plane was flying very low before it came down and burst into flames. We have no survivors," the official said.

The building hit by the aircraft was empty.
