'Lingaa' in controversy again

Chennai, Jul 3 : Rajinikanth starrer 'Lingaa' is being again dragged in controversy. The shooting of the movie is presently taking place in Anajpur village in Rangareddy district. The local villagers tried to stop the shooting of the film, claiming that some chemicals are being mixed in the village lake by the unit members.

But the movie unit said that they have sought the permission of the irrigation department and village panchayath to shoot there. The same villagers have also tried to stop the shooting of Prabhas's 'Baahubali' few months back.

'Lingaa' is directed by Ravi Kumar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The movie stars Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty along with Rajinikanth. The movie will be released on December 12,2014.
