Five killed in Pakistan road accident


Islamabad, July 4 (IANS): At least five people were killed Friday in a road accident reportedly caused by overspeeding in Pakistan's Punjab province.

A resident of Sargodha was on his way to Lahore in a private vehicle along with his wife, two daughters and a driver when the car overturned on the way due to overspeeding, Dawn online reported.

According to officials, the husband, wife and one of the daughters died on the spot whereas the other daughter and the driver of the vehicle succumbed to their wounds while they were being shifted to a hospital.
