Partly cloudy Sunday in Delhi, Monday similar


New Delhi, July 6 (IANS): The national capital experienced a partly cloudy Sunday with the maximum temperature at 37 degree Celsius, one notch above the season's average. Met has forecast a similar Monday.

The city received 0.9 mm rainfall till 5:30 p.m.

"The skies will be sunny Monday morning but will turn cloudy noon onwards. In the evening, light rain may occur in many parts of the capital," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover at about 38 degrees and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The minimum temperature Sunday settled at 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

Saturday's maximum temperature was 38.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
