Stormy start to parliament's budget session


New Delhi, July 7 (IANS): The budget session of parliament had a stormy start Monday, with the Congress members protesting price rise.

The rail budget is scheduled to be presented July 8 and the general budget July 10.

The session of the Lok Sabha chaired by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan began with the house expressing grief on the death of member Harbhajan Lakha.

During the question hour, the Congress party launched protests in the Lok Sabha on price rise while there was discussion on the same in the Rajya Sabha.
