RSS leader Ram Madhav joins BJP

New Delhi, July 7 (IANS): RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav joined the BJP on Monday.

Asked by IANS whether he had become a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Madhav replied: "Yes".

Meanwhile, another Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Shiv Prakash is also likely to join the party, BJP insiders said.

The developments come following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's close aide Amit Shah's name doing the rounds as the next BJP president.
