BPO official knocked down by a vehicle, run over by many


Gurgaon, July 9 (IANS): A senior executive of a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider firm was killed in a road accident on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway Wednesday, police said.

The man was identified as Pankaj Mishra, 32, a resident of Mahipalpur extension in Delhi.

An assistant manager in the BPO, he was returning home around 1 a.m. when an unidentified vehicle hit his bike near the IFFCO Chowk on the expressway.

"His bike was hit by a vehicle and he fell off the flyover in a service lane and was crushed by many vehicles," police officer Jaipal said.

The executive's body parts were scattered over an area of 50 metres.

"We have registered a case against unidentified driver of an unknown vehicle," the official said.
