Rs.8,000 crore for National Housing Banking programme


New Delhi, July 10 (IANS): With a view to expand and continue rural housing in India, the government has allotted Rs.8,000 crore for National Housing Banking programme, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said Thursday.

    Thank you for the opportunity to suggest. Govt should form a Housing Construction Corporation, to construct and provide housing ready to occupy with a maximum profit margin of 10 to 15 %. House may be constructed and allotted as per plan desired by the individual, who will make full payment to the Construction Corporation by way of ready cash/taking loan from the other relevant banks as per entitlement.
    This will ensure availability of house with a reasonable amount.
