Agency report

New Delhi, Aug 6: Low-cost carrier Air Deccan on Friday announced special fares starting from Re 1 as part of its third anniversary celebrations.

The fares would be applicable for travel on select days on select sectors, a statement from the airline said, adding that the tickets would be available from the second fortnight of this month.

The company is also planning to withdraw flights from some sectors such as Delhi-Kanpur, Lucknow-Kanpur and Mumbai-Nasik due to unfeasibility of operations, it said.

The withdrawal, however, would be temporary, the statement added.
