Gadkari to clear stalled road projects


New Delhi, July 15 (IANS): Union Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari said Tuesday he wants to clear road projects worth Rs.180,000 crore that are stuck.

"I am trying to take forward road construction projects worth over Rs.180,000 crore, stalled due to various hurdles," Gadkari said at the National Road and Highways Summit organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce.

He also said that he will meet bankers next month as they have stopped funding various infrastructure projects.
