"Priests should not walk out during the four months of Chaturmasya because animals get hurt by it. Creatures are more during the rainy season and it is the period for upholding non-violence. It is also called the period when the almighty goes to sleep. However if the
almighty sleeps, the affairs of the world will come to a standstill. The almighty only pretends to be sleeping. He will be awake even when he is asleep. However we sleep while awake. So the four months period is meant to pull the society towards religion," said Pejawar Shree.

society. It teaches patriotism along with religious teaching. The world will remain protected only by following religion," he said.
