Udupi, Aug 14: A teenaged boy died after accidentally falling into a well at Mallamar of Mattar near Shirva here on Sunday August 13.
Vishwanath Kotian (18), son of Uday Kotian of Mallamar fell into a well owing to landslide on Sunday. He was working in a mill for sometime. On Sunday he had a holiday. So he was doing some work near the well.
However, owing to heavy rains, mud beneath his legs slided. Vishwanath who lost control slipped into the well. Before he was removed out of the well, he had breathed his last.
The Shirva police have registered a case in this regard.
