From Sanjay Borkar in Margao for Daijiworld News Network - Goa

Margao, Aug 15: Two sad cases of death were reported in the city on Monday evening. While one died while having come on official work in the Collector's premises, the other met with a bus accident.
 
Joaquim Fernandes (50), a resident of Banaulim-Salcete, was on a visit to the collector's building on some official work. When he reached the concerned department, he felt ill and collapsed to the ground. He was immediately rushed to Hospicio hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
 
Just after some time of this incident one Roque John (61), resident of Borkmorod–Verlim met with a bus accident, while climbing into the bus, in front of the same collector building road. The Margao police said that as he was boarding the bus, he slipped off the footboard because of the rush. As he fell on the road, the wheel of the bus is said to have passed over his head. He died on the spot.

 As per the information given by the Margao Police he was trying to get in the bus, but in a throng of people his leg got slipped and he fell down and the bus ran over his head.

Margao police team is investigating both the cases.
