Mangalore, Aug 15: Larxess (India) Private Limited, a German-based multinational is likely to invest in the Mangalore Special Economic Zone (SEZ) project.

A team of the company has visited the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry office here on Aug 12 to explore the investment opportunities in Mangalore SEZ project.

According to a press release from KCCI, the delegation comprised Joerg Strassburger, managing director of the company and D G Talekar, director and head, Manufacturer of B U Rubber Chemicals.

The company has plans to establish its unit in 100 acres of land in SEZ and also plans to employ 1,000 employees.

Chief Executive Officer, Mangalore SEZ Limited A G Pai, who is also the general manager (Projects) ONGC-MRPL, made a presentation to the team explaining the current status and investment opportunities at the SEZ.
