Mangalore, Aug 16: Nine ex-servicemen were felicitated by MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik at a programme organised by the Dakshina Kannada District Ex-servicemen Association on the occasion of Independence Day on Tuesday August 15.

Ex-servicemen W V Soans, Madhavan Attavar, Chenna Gowda, George Philip, V M Sanjeev Rao, P V Kunjappan Nair, S A Kamath, Purushotam Kadri and Jayanna were honoured on the occasion. 

Association president V M Ashirvad, joint secretary Rosario, Cl N S Bhandary and general secretary Bhaskar Rao were present on the occasion.
