Mangalore, Aug 17: United Forum of BSNL Unions held hunger strike in front of the Principal General Manger's office here on Thursday August 17.
The strike was organized after the BSNL managing committee failed to fulfill the demands of the workers put forth by national union of BSNL workers. The protestors told that they would go on hunger strike till their demands are met.
The protest was led by P Narayanan, Venugopal Nambiar, K S Panduranga, Devdas Gowda, Balakrishnayya and others.
