Mangalore, Aug 18: Locals celebrated Srikrishna Janmashtami with pomp and gusto on Wednesday August 16 night.
Devotees gathered near Venkatramana Temple at Car Street here to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna.
The festivities were marked by the traditional 'Mosaru Kudike' where people got together to break the pot.
'Muddu Bala Krishna' competitions were also held as part of the celebrations.
