Mangalore, Aug 1: A three days free medical check-up camp in association with Merck company was inaugurated at Global Multispeciality hospital, Matadakani road, Urwa here on Friday August 1.
State minister for forest, environment and ecology, B Ramanath Rai inaugurated the camp.
In his inaugural speech he said, "The first duty of human being is to look after his health. There was a time where people never cared about their health, but now people have become smart and they know how to take care of their health."
"Global hospital has taken a good initiative by starting a free health check-up camp. Our health will be perfect if we love our nature. Nature plays an important role in our life, as we people have start loving the nature,” he added.
Dr Sudaram Rai, managing director of Global Hospital said , "Today it is World Breastfeeding day and in India breastfeeding is reducing according to the survey. In foreign countries it is increasing.”
Eshwar compered the ceremony.
Dr Sushil Jathanna welcomed the guests and Bhaskar Aras proposed the vote of thanks.
