Mangalore, Aug 21: The life that filled with fun and laughter for everyone, ended in tears and bitter regrets. Amid sighs of grief and sorrow, Br Loy Manohar Fernandes of Jeppu was laid to rest at Loyola College Chennai, on Sunday Aug 20 following a Holy Eucharist.
 
Br Loy's mortal remains were found on the Harbour Beach on August 19. Jesuit brothers were looking around for Loy. Since Harbour is a security zone, only two brothers were permitted to enter the Harbour. One of them found Loy.

According to the Jesuit priests, Br Loy who was in water for nearly 24 hours did not look lifeless. People could not believe that he was as lifeless as he was so fresh. It is only on earth (after he was thrown out by the water) that his colour gradually started changing.
 
Fr Vijay Prabhu SJ, provincial superior of Karnataka Jesuits, celebrated the Holy Eucharist. Fr Francis Menezes who is the in-charge of Karnataka Jesuit Brothers and other Jesuits was present.
