Mumbai, Aug 22: It’s a Hindi film called ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’. The title might sound like one of those umpteen B-grader hinterland movies, but this project by producer Viveck Vaswani boasts of an unlikely actor — a certain Brian Lara! Yep, if the buzz is to be believed, the West Indian batting legend will make his Hindi film debut in ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’. To suit the cricketing icon’s convenience, the film will be shot in the Caribbean isles itself.

In fact, Vaswani plans to can an important schedule in Trinidad and Tobago, where incidentally, Lara was born. Besides Lara, the makers intend to rope in Sachin Tendulkar and Sushmita Sen. The film will be directed by Mudassar Aziz, who’s written Sen’s upcoming film, ‘Zindaggi Rocks’.

Says a source, “The reason why Vaswani is shooting in West Indies is because he has been asked to promote the locales there through his movie, and the investors are from the Trinidad and Tobago embassy itself. Hence, it has been easy getting in Lara for the project, but it is unlikely that he will speak in Hindi.” Both Aziz and Vaswani are said to be in West Indies.
