Mangalore, Aug 24: The Bunt’s Ganeshotsava celebrations jointly organized by the Ganeshotsava Samiti, the Mangalore Taluk Bantara Sangha and the Buntara Yane Nadavari Mathr Sangha will be held from Aug 27 to 29.
A series of programmes will be held during the occasion at Omkara Nagara in Bunts Hostel, informed Asha Jyothi, coordinator of the cultural division of the samiti.
Speaking at a press conference, Asha said that `Tene Habba' will be celebrated along with events like religious discourse, talents search competition and cultural programmes. Distinguished personalities from various fields would be felicitated for their contributions to the society.
Mahayagna will be held on Aug 29, while Horekanike will be held Aug 26. The festival will conclude with Shobha Yatre for the immersion of idol on Aug 29.
