Colombo, Aug 24: The International Cricket Council (ICC) chief referee Ranjan Madugalle will not conduct Friday's hearing against Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul Haq on the Oval Test controversy due to personal reasons.

"I can confirm that I'm not able to travel to England for the Friday hearing for personal reasons,'' the former Sri Lanka captain told Reuters today.

The ICC appointed Madugalle to conduct the hearing in London after Inzamam was charged with alleged ball-tampering and for bringing the game into disrepute, after Pakistan forfeited the fourth Test on Sunday against England having been penalised for ball-tampering.
