Mangalore, Aug 11: "
Rakshabandan is a programme that strengthens the bond of fraternity and as people's representative of this constituency, I am committed to the safety of female students and women," said MLA J R Lobo.

"Mangalore is a famous educational hub and girls from different regions in the country come here for studies. Their safety is my priority. Let us all grow with the feelings of brotherhood and develop a healthy society," he added.

MLA Lobo was speaking after college students arrived at his residence and tied rakhis on the occasion of Rakshabandhan on Sunday August 10. Nearly 50 girl students from several colleges took part in the programme.

This is a good program. It looks more like a publicity program. Glad to know J R Lobo is going to ensure safety of girls as his duty. Let us know how he is going to ensure so that others can support him in this cause. I do not think he can do it by eating laddoos.
By the way safety and security is required is required for all people.
