Udupi, Sep 3: Several persons were reported missing in the twin districts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada. According to police sources there have been many cases of children being reported missing.

In the last one week a total of three persons were reported missing in Udupi district.

 
Sundari Shedthi, Vidyashree and Bhoja C Kotian

On Aug 30 Sundari Shedthi alias Shankri Shetty aged about 52 years, went to town from her house in Moodumane, Nallur Village, Karkala and did not return home thereafter. In this connection a case has been registered at Karkala Rural police station.
 
On Aug 31 Vidyashree aged about 21 years, went to college in the morning from her house in Mudanbu, Innaje Village, Kaup and did not return home that night. In this connection a case has been registered in Kaup police station.

Bhoja C Kotian (55) left his home in Bada Village on Aug 22 and is reported missing. A case has been register in Padubidri police station. Bhoja is said to be suffering form mental depression.

 Sixteen-year-old Manjula of Ikala village is reported missing. According to the complaint lodged in Mulki police station, the young girl was reported missing Aug 29. She is the daughter of Hanumanthappa. 

A boy was reported missing in Moodabidri police station limits. Puneet Shetty (18) a resident of Marakada cross, Badagamijaru village Mangalore Taluk left his house on Aug 25 and did not return there after.

Another case of a boy missing was reported in. Abdul Nazir (14) of Kallappu Permannur village who went to School at Ullal on Aug 30 did not return home

Clorin Nazareth, a sixteen-year-old student of Navoor village Bantwal Taluk never returned from his visit to the church. Clorin had been to Perla Church on Aug 27 and later found missing.
