Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Aug 18: After 3 Idiots, Golmaal, Bodyguard and RaOne Kareena Kapoor seems to once again teamed up with Rohit Shetty's on a hardcore entertainer and it seems to have worked mighty fine for her. She believed in Rohit Shetty's belief in her and add to that, her hard work, it all seems to have culminated into a movie that broke a lot of first day sales records in Bollywood.

Coming as a sequel to the hugely successful Singham, Kareena carries on the mantle of Ajay Devgan's lady love in the film with aplomb. Kareena had it seems been adviced by Rohit Shetty that with Satyagraha she had done her bit for performance roles and that it was time for her to now do something that was an all out entertainer. She apparently agreed with him.

Just on its opening weekend the movie has grossed over 77crore rupees and looks set to break the records made by Sajid-Nadiadwala's 'KICK' starring Salman Khan that garnered a whooping 163crore rupees in a week.

While many feel that the movie isn't quite as deliciously entertaining as Singham, apprently it has still managed to steal a lot of hearts not to mention many a wallet. Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty seem to have emerged a winning combination once more. And more so they seem to be working for Kareena Kapoor.
