Bantwal, Sep 5: One was killed and 3 others were injured in a road accident at Kolake Bombalu near Sajipanadu here on Sunday September 3 night.
The deceased has been identified as biker rider Nitesh Shetty (32). The pillion rider Prasad, pedestrians Chandrahas and Dinakar Shetty have sustained critical injuries and are admitted to hospital.
The accident occurred when the mobike ridden by Nitesh who was on his way to Konaje from Melkar knocked down two pedestrians at Kolake Bombalu on Sunday night. Hence, Nitesh lost control over his vehicle as a result of which both he and the pillion rider were thrown on the road. Nitesh sustained serious injuries and died while rushing to hospital.
