Mangalore, Sep 5: A pedestrian woman was killed after she was knocked down by an over speeding Tempo Trax at Yeyyadi near here on Monday September 4 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Meera (50), a resident of Gurunagar in Yeyyadi. She was walking beside the road when the recklessly driven vehicle hit her. As a result, Meera sustained critical injuries.
She was immediately admitted to a hospital. However, she succumbed to injuries later in the night.
Kankanady police have registered a case in this regard.
