Talk to celebrities at Emmy Awards with Facebook app

New York, Aug 23 (IANS): Facebook has teamed up with entertainment show "Access Hollywood" to launch an app that will connect fans with their favourite celebrities in real time during the 66th Emmy Awards nights Aug 25.

The tablet app called "Mentions Box" is designed to let celebrities at the Emmy Awards answer questions from their fans.

Fans need to go to Access Hollywood's Facebook page and ask questions for their favourite stars.

The host of the show will take the tablet to the celebrity who has been asked a question.

The celebrities will look into the tablet's camera and provide video responses to the questions in real time.

The device is similar to a question and answer device that Instagram used at the Golden Globes awards in January.
