Gunfight in Kashmir


Srinagar, Aug 25 (IANS): Security forces Monday engaged separatist guerrillas in a gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, police said.

The gunfight started in Lolab area of Kupwara Monday morning, a senior police officer told IANS here.

"The encounter started at a place near where four militants and a soldier were killed Sunday in Kalaroos forests of Kupwara," the officer said.
