Mangalore, Sep 8: 'Rays of Light,' an exhibition of paintings by Wilma Patricia Aranha was inaugurated at the Parish Hall, Milagres Church here as part of the centenary year celebrations of Montifest at Milgres Church here on Thursday September 6.
Wilma presented one of her paintings, 'Christ before the High Priest' to the Archbishop of Delhi Vincent Concessao, who inaugurated the exhibition.
The paintings, most of them reproductions of renowned painters like Rembrandt, Monet, Michelangelo and Renoir, are biblical in nature and are set on themes of autumn and spring.
Among those present were parish priest Fr Walter D'Mello, convenor Ivan D'Souza, Dr Shantaram Shetty and St Agnes College lecturer and art critic Urmila Shetty.
