Mangalore, Sep 8: The residents of Puttur are in for a musical feast with Raga Sangama Sangeet Sabha all set to organize a music programme at the Mahalingeshwara Temple hall on Sunday September 10 at 5.30 pm.

Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday September 7, joint secretary of the Sabha Panduranga Nayak informed that Anisha Rao, a young artiste, will recite a Carnatic classical piece accompanied by Shashank Sharma and Jagadish Bhat, who will play the mridangam and violin, respectively.

Winner of Aryabhata and Chandrahas awards Abhijit Shenoy of Bangalore will recite Hindustani classical music, assisted by Adarsh Shenoy with tabla and Shankar Shenoy of Udupi with harmonium.

The Sabha was formed on March 20, 2005, with the assistance of art-lovers, he said.
