Mangalore, Sep 8: A seminar on Practice Management was organised by the city branch of Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Thursday September 7 here.

Speaking after inaugurating the seminar, ICAI president T N Manoharan said that the Institute may review the curriculum for CA course and a proposal in this regard has already been approved by the ministry of company affairs and forwarded to the ministry of law for approval. The duration of the CA course is expected to be reduced to four years without any compromise on quality and existing standards, he added.

Among those present on the occasion were Infosys Technologies Limited director (HR) Mohandas Pai and president of ICAI Mangalore chapter Praveen Shetty.
