Mangalore, Sep 8: The 152nd birth anniversary of Narayan Guru was celebrated with gusto at the city's Sri Gokarnanatha college, Kudroli on Thursday September 7.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof Amrut Someshwar, a renowned writer, and presided over by B Devdas Suvarna, president, Venkatesha Shivashakti Yoga Sangha.

The occasion was marked by a grand display of cultural programmes. Winners of various competitions were also awarded.

Among those present were Sujay Ashoka, Principal, Sri Gokarnanatha College, and Malathi, Principal, Sri Gokarnanatha PU College.
