Bangalore, Sep 8: St. Patrick's church, which has been celebrating the Nativity with Holy Mass in Konkani, distribution of blessed corn, and honouring Mother Mary with flowers since 1968, to mark their 39th celebration by Parish Liturgical committee continued their tradition this year to a hall full congregation.  Most. Rev. Ignatius Pinto was the main celebrant.


The progam began with blessing of the corn at 8.30 a.m. followed by Holy Mass in Konkani and flower showers.  In his homily Rt. Rev. Ignatius Pinto stressed the importance of Mother Mary in our life and advised the congregation to be her children.




Sugarcanes were distributed to the children who had come with flowers. The choir with its melodious voices enthralled everyone.
