Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 3 (IANS): Former chief justice of India P. Sathasivam will be sworn-in as the new Kerala governor Friday.
A Raj Bhavan source told IANS that the swearing-in ceremony will take place at 9.30 a.m. Friday.
Sathasivam replaces Sheila Dikshit who resigned last week.
Dikshit will be given a farewell and a guard of honour at the airport here at 10.30 a.m. Friday, according to an official communication from the Kerala government.
Dikshit, who was sworn in March 11, had replaced Nikhil Kumar.
Nikhil Kumar, who was in office for less than a year, had pulled out to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Bihar.
