NDA has failed to fulfil its promises: Rahul

Amethi, Sep 4 (IANS): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Thursday took a jibe on the NDA government's 100 days, saying the government has failed to fulfill promises of containing price rise and corruption or deal with electricity shortage.

"The prime minister is playing the drum in Japan while there is no electricity," said Gandhi, who is currently on a two-day visit to his constituency.

The Bharatiya Janata Party made tall promises in the run-up to the general elections but there is no action on the ground after they came to power, he claimed.
