Islamabad, Sep 5 (IANS): At least 70 people were killed in separate incidents triggered by torrential rains in Pakistan, a media reported Friday.

Most of the deaths were caused by roof collapses and electrocution in Punjab and Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, Geo News reported.

According to the meteorogical department, a number of cities all over the country have received over 130 mm of rain.

People residing near rivers have been issued alerts by the district administration to evacuate their homes.
