Drunk passenger caught running on runway at Delhi airport

New Delhi, Sep 7 (Agencies) : In a major breach of security at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, a drunk passenger was found running on the runway early on Saturday morning.

While waiting for his connecting flight to Tokyo at the Terminal 3 lounge, the passenger, a British national, pressed a fire alarm which led to the opening of the emergency exit doors.

The inebriated passenger then escaped from one of the doors and started running on the runway before he was apprehended by the CISF guards at the airport.

The passenger is now likely to take his flight to Tokyo later on Saturday. It is not yet known whether any case was filed against him.

For a second, he must have thought, that he missed flight of fantasy and started running on the runway, in a bid to catch the flight. Everything is possible for a drunkard man. LOL
