BJP trashes AAP's charges of horse-trading

Kolkata, Sep 8 (IANS): BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Monday said AAP's horse-trading allegations were a desperate attempt by the Arvind Kejriwal-led party to be in the limelight.

"The AAP is ... fighting an existential battle. By making such baseless allegations, it is desperately trying to be in the limelight," Naqvi told the media here.

Asked about government formation in Delhi, Naqvi said the Bharatiya Janata Party would take a call in line with the demands of the situation.

The Aam Aadmi Party Monday released a video which showed a BJP leader allegedly offering money to one of its legislators in a bid to form a government in Delhi.

Delhi has been under President's rule since Kejriwal resigned as chief minister Feb 14 after 49 days in office.
