Monthi feast celebrations by Konkans Ireland, Dublin Ireland

Konkans Ireland celebrated Monthi Feast(Nativity of Mother Mary) on September 7th college Bray, with devotion and grandeour.In preparation of Monthi Feast we had 9 days of Novena to venerate mother mary with flowers at our residences.

The event began with the Holy Eucharistic mass at 10:00 am celebrated by Fr Jayan Joseph, followed by veneration of Mother Mary with flowers by kids and adults. It was such a Joy to see huge members together as family.

Mrs. Wilma D’Almeida compered the Event. Cultural events began with the Prayer dance by Ms Neha Tauro and Ms Ashlyn Lobo to the hymn NAMO NAMO MORIYE. Various other cultural events included solo dances, group dances, solo singing and duet singing by 2014 at St Brendan’s various talents of konkans Ireland.

A delicious vegetarian lunch was prepared by Mr Gregoury and Lilly Sequira which was enjoyed by all.Concluded the day with Housy Housy game and Biala Dance.
