Daijiworld News Network – Puttur (VM)

Puttur, Sep 19: The Puttur Dasara celebrations will be held from Sep 23 to Oct 4 at Mahalingeshwara Temple grounds here. The Navadurgaradhana will be held under the aegis of Puttur Dasara Navadurgadhana Samiti which has plans of putting up a grand celebration.

The installation of Ganapati and Navadurga idols will be held on Sep 23. Puttur assistant commissioner K A Appaiah will inaugurate the celebration while Puttur MLA Shakuntala T Shetty will preside over.

Sharada Pratista will be held on Sep 30. Both religious and cultural programmes will be held during the 12-day festivities.
