Five minor girls rescued from Delhi brothel


New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS): Five minor girls have been rescued from a brothel in the capital, police said Tuesday.

The girls were rescued around 7 p.m. Monday from the G.B. Road red light area in central Delhi.

The girls, all residents of Nepal, were rescued from the first floor of brothel No.56.

"After the rescue, all the girls were presented before the Child Welfare Committee. They were also medically examined," a police official said.
