Bihar announces Rs.9 crore aid for flood-hit Kashmir


Patna, Sep 9 (IANS): Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Tuesday announced Rs.9 crore in aid for relief work in flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir.

"We would give Rs.9 crore to Jammu and Kashmir from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund," Manjhi told media persons here.

Bihar would also supply 20,000 packets of food and 20 high-tech boats for relief and rescue, he said.
