Cloudy Tuesday in Delhi, Wednesday to be similar


New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS): Delhi witnessed a partly cloudy Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy Wednesday with light showers in some parts of the city.

"Wednesday will be cloudy with light rain in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures Wednesday are likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

The minimum temperature Tuesday was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius, a degree above the season's average.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded two notches above the season's average at 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 26.4 degrees Celsius, slightly above the season's average.
