Bantwal, Sep 19: A huge blood donation camp was jointly organized by ICYM Bantwal, Chaitanya Foundation (R), Mangalore and Fr Muller Hospital, Kankanady on Sunday September 17 at Anugraha Hall at Modankap.
The blood donation camp was organized on the occasion golden jubilee celebrations of Konkani monthly "Jhelo."
The camp was inaugurated by Fr Arun Lobo, assistant parish priest of Infant Jesus Church, Bantwal.. Dr Indira Bangera, Dr Kiran, Francis Rodrigues and Vincent D'Costa were the chief guests on the occasion.
Francis Saldanha, editor of 'Jhelo' welcomed the gathering while Roy Frank proposed the vote of thanks. Avin D'Souza compered the programme.
Each blood donor was given personal accident policy of Rs 1 lac each on the occasion.
