Moodbidri: Police nab man wanted in decade old rape attempt

Moodbidri, Sep 13: Police in Moodbidri police station arrested Raghu Harijana, a resident of Karkal Nandalike Golikatte, who is wanted in a rape case, on Friday September 12. He is accused of attempting to rape a married woman in Beluvai Kana in the year 2004 and has been absconding since then.

The police team led by Moodbidri police inspector Anantapadmanabha and consisting of crime police officers Shankara Nayari, Aithappa, Santhosh, Ramanna, and Ashith Kumar participated in the operation.

Harijana was produced in Moodbidri court and subjected to 15 days of judicial custody.
