Mangalore, Sep 23: The students of University College at Hampankatta here boycotted classes on Friday September 22 demanding the fulfillment of their various demands.
They demanded the management to cancel the suspension order issued against college student Kiran. The agitators appealed the management to take back Kiran to the college. They also protested against the increase in the entrance fee.
It is not for the first time that students of the University College have gone on strike. The students had several times boycotted classes demanding fulfillment of several demands. But they say that the management has turned a complete deaf ear to them owing to which they have decided to stage protest once again.
