Himachal gives Rs.1 crore to flood-hit Kashmir


Shimla, Sep 16 (IANS): Himachal Pradesh Tuesday announced it was sending Rs.1 crore to flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir for relief and rehabilitation.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has sent a cheque of Rs.1 crore to Jammu and Kashmir, an official statement said.

The chief minister said the government of Himachal Pradesh would extend its full cooperation and support to the northern state in this hour of distress and crisis.
