New Delhi, Sep 16 (IANS): US Ambassador to India Kathleen Stephens Tuesday announced an aid of $250,000 for relief and rehabilitation work in flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir.

"The US intends to provide $250,000 in response to the needs of the people affected by the disaster through the US Agency for International Development," a statement by the American embassy said.
