Udupi, Sep 27: A Career Guidance seminar and Exhibition was organized in the Milagres College, Kallianpur by the Career Guidance cell of the College and Mangalore University Employment and Guidance Bureau on November 25 in the Silver Jubilee Hall. Principal Fr Fred Mascaranhas presided over.

Dinesh Kini, president of Udupi District working Journalists Union, inaugirated the programme. In the inaugural address, he highlighted the importance of the mass media, and its challenges and opportunities. S D Basavaraju, Udupi District Employment Officer, who is also the deputy director of University Emploment Bureau, highlighted the importance of the programme. Dr Gerald Pinto, director of Career Guidance, cell welcomed the gathering.

Dr Paniyadi, Udaya, faculty of RUDSETTI Brahmavar and S D Basavaraju were the resource persons. Clara Lobo proposed vote of thanks. Jennifer Sequeira, president of Student welfare council, compered the programme.

The exhibition organized on the career guidance proved useful to the participants.
